What is the deadline to complete this course?

You have until the end of our plan year, June of 2022, to earn the money. The sooner you complete the course, the sooner the money is available to you.

Would you rather look good or feel good? (Chose carefully)

This is the age-old question posed live from New York one Saturday night in 1985 by Billy Crystal who came down firmly on the side of “It’s not how you feel, it’s how you look”

Most people who want to lose weight likewise focus on how they want to look and assume that once they can fit into their little black dress or show off their 6 pack abs, they’ll be feeling good. Perhaps even marvelous.

Billy Crystal is no doctor. But most weight loss doctors use prescription diet pills and low-calorie shake programs focusing entirely on the looks half of the equation, promising to melt fat, shed pounds, and get you thin—and looking great—faster and easier than anything you’ve ever tried before. The implicit promise is that once you lose the weight you’re going to look better so, naturally, you’ll feel better.

But that’s a fantasy. They’ve got it exactly backward. The truth is, if your goal is to lose weight and keep it off, then the first thing you need to do is fix the low energy episodes that can drive unhealthy cravings or keep you from feeling your absolute best. 

The standard approach to weight loss ignores the underlying metabolic problem that causes people to gain weight. And that problem is not corrected by focusing on the number on the scale.

The standard approach completely glosses over the problem you have now, that when you get hungry, you get tired or can’t concentrate or feel irritable and just have to get something to eat. It’s not supposed to work that way. And think about it: what are you supposed to do to make yourself feel better when you’re trying your best to avoid eating extra calories?
