However the term GMO usually applies to the blunt instruments of technology being used to meddle with nuclear genetic material and not to the epigenetic reality that our genes are actually modified all the time based on what we eat and how we live.</description>

I&#039;m not inherently opposed to becoming a GMO (we&#039;re all genetically modified upon our conception after all, to be a recombination of our parents&#039; genes) but certainly there are many risks so we should weigh the potential for reward and how to adapt to potential problems.</description>
